Upon landing at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), our representative will warmly welcome you and escort you to your accommodation at Kathmandu Suite Home. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay, with breakfast included.
Your adventure begins with an early morning drive to Syabrubesi after breakfast. The scenic journey follows the Trisuli River, where you might spot white-water rafters tackling its rapids. Along the way, enjoy panoramic views of the Manaslu Massif, Ganesh Himal, Jugal Himal, and Langtang ranges. The road becomes rugged as you pass Dhunche (around 50 km) and continue 15 km to Syabrubesi. Once there, you can relax, stroll around the village, and engage with locals. Overnight at a local lodge.
As you commence a 3-hour trek, the path meanders through the forest, culminating at the unique point of Ghoretable, well-known for its function as a stable for horses. Continuing the trek, you’ll progress towards the rejuvenated Langtang Village, a symbol of resilience in the aftermath of the 2015 earthquake. Langtang Village is a flourishing community, offering essential amenities like a health post, government schools, small markets, and monasteries.
Today’s trek is shorter but incredibly scenic as you ascend to Kyanjin Gompa (3,870 m), a sacred and tranquil spot surrounded by the grandeur of the Himalayas. Along the way, soak in views of Langtang Lirung and Ganchempo. Once at Kyanjin, you’ll have time to rest and explore. Overnight stay at Kyanjin Gompa.
Spend the day adjusting to the higher altitude and exploring the stunning surroundings. A hike to Tserko Ri (4,984 m) is highly recommended for panoramic views of the Langtang range and the distant Tibetan mountains. This is a day for rest, reflection, and awe. Overnight at Kyanjin Gompa.
Retrace your steps as you descend through Kyanjin, Langtang Village, and Ghodatabela. The trek, lasting about 6–8 hours, offers new perspectives of the landscapes you passed earlier. Cross rivers, descend through forests, and arrive once again at Lama Hotel for a peaceful overnight stay.
Today, you’ll trek back to Syabrubesi, choosing between two scenic routes. You can follow the same trail through Bamboo and Rimche or opt for a shorter, steeper path via Sherpa Gaun that rewards you with expansive views of the valley. Your choice may depend on your energy and the weather. Spend your final trekking night in Syabrubesi.
Enjoy the scenic drive back to Kathmandu, bringing your Langtang adventure to a close. Take this time to relax, reflect, and relive the memories of your Himalayan journey.
