Itinerary

Day 1

  • Arrive in Hanoi with airport assistance for immigration and baggage claim.
  • Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
  • Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 2

  • Experience "A Day in the Life of a Hanoian" with visits to a local house, Gioi Market, and coffee along the urban railway.
  • Take a half-day city tour visiting colonial buildings, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), One Pillar Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh's House, and the Temple of Literature.
  • Enjoy an evening street food tour, sampling local dishes and experiencing Hanoi's nightlife.
  • Overnight in Hanoi. 
Day 3

  • Depart Hanoi for a 4.5-hour drive to Mai Chau.
  • Have lunch at a local restaurant.
  • Enjoy light trekking through White Thai Minority villages and interact with locals.
  • Overnight in Mai Chau.
Day 4

  • Embark on a full-day trek exploring four Thai villages, rice fields, and farms.
  • Enjoy lunch and rest at a local house.
  • Overnight in Mai Chau. 
Day 5

  • After breakfast, transfer to Ninh Binh (approx. 4-hour drive).
  • Check into your hotel with the remainder of the day free.
  • Overnight in Ninh Binh. 
Day 6

  • Visit temples dedicated to the Dinh and Le dynasty kings.
  • Climb Mua Cave for panoramic views of the "Ha Long Bay on Land" area.
  • Explore Hang But (Buddhist Cave) by sampan and continue to Thung Nham bird valley.
  • Overnight in Ninh Binh. 
Day 7

  • Transfer from Ninh Binh to Halong (approx. 3-3.5 hours).
  • Board the cruise for check-in and welcome drink.
  • Enjoy lunch while cruising into Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay.
  • Visit Ao Ech for kayaking and later enjoy a swim at Tra Bau.
