Welcome to the heart of Harghita! After check-in at a cozy mountain lodge, we begin our journey with a hike to Madarasi Harghita Peak (1,801 m) — offering stunning 360° views of the Eastern Carpathians.
🟢 Optional: A quick detour to a peaceful nearby waterfall for fresh air and scenic photos.
🥪 Lunch: Rustic picnic or lodge meal with authentic Transylvanian flavors.
Evening Highlight (from 18:00):
Head deep into the forest with a wildlife expert to observe brown bears in their natural habitat — a rare and unforgettable experience.
Overnight: Mountain Lodge
Start your day with a hearty local breakfast before we set off to Hășmaș Mountains National Park.
🌲 Hike quiet trails near Red Lake and Bicaz Gorge, surrounded by dense forests, towering cliffs, and eerie submerged trees.
🥪 Picnic lunch in the heart of nature.
Evening: Return to lodge for dinner and rest.
After breakfast and check-out, we visit the Zetea Dam.
