This 3-day magnificent Murchison Falls safari will take you to Uganda’s largest parks known as Murchsion falls national park situated in Northwestern Uganda on an area of 3,840 sq km, gazetted in 1926 as a game reserve. It is classified with and the Victoria Nile that flows through separating it into two (the northern and southern bank). Murchison Falls is home to 76 mammal species, over 451 bird species such as the Great blue Turaco, Goliath heron, the Shoebill, and the dwarf kingfisher among others.

After an early breakfast, your driver guide will pick you up at 7:00 am. He will brief you about your 3-day safari to Murchison Falls before starting the 6-hour journey. You will pass through Luweero and stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, where you’ll see both black and white rhinos.
Next, you’ll stop in Masindi for lunch. Afterward, continue to the park. Once you’ve made the necessary park payments, drive towards the top of the falls. Along the way, spot various animals like warthogs and baboons.
At the top of the falls, enjoy the breathtaking view of the water squeezing through an 8m gorge. Take as many photos as you like. Afterward, head to the lodge to relax, have dinner, and stay overnight.
Wake up early for breakfast, your driver and ranger guide will pick you up for your game drive. During the drive, you will see various animals like lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, waterbucks, and birds.
After the game drive, return to the lodge to relax, freshen up, and have lunch before the afternoon boat cruise. On the boat, you’ll spot Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants along the riverbanks. Beautiful birds, such as bee-eaters, kingfishers, and the shoe-billed stork, can also be seen.
The boat ride will take you to the base of Murchison Falls, where you can clearly view the mighty waterfalls. Optionally, hike to the top, where your driver guide will meet you and drive you back to the lodge.
Enjoy your breakfast; thereafter proceed for another Game drive in the morning on your way back to Kampala. It will be a great time as you look out for various animal species though most of them will be seen in the grasslands feeding such as buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes, not forgetting a number of bird species.
