This 3-day Gorilla trek safari takes you to the misty Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which is home to more than half the population of the remaining 720 Mountain Gorillas in the world. Bwindi impenetrable forest offers a unique birding opportunity, cultural experience a scenic attraction of stunning hills and lush vegetation inhabited by elusive primates. The Gorilla trek activity is the most enchanting experience in this forest. You will have an experience of a life time watching at close range.

You will after breakfast at your hotel within Entebbe/Kampala settle for an 8-9-hour drive to Bwindi impenetrable forest National Park in the south western part of the country. You will a have a stopover at the Equator where you will have an opportunity to stand in two hemispheres at the same time and take some photos. You will make another stopover in Mbarara town for lunch before continuing with your journey to Bwindi arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight will be at Broadbill Forest Camp.

Upon rising, enjoy breakfast with packed lunch, report to the park head office at 07:00 am for a pre-trekking briefing on the code of conduct while tracking for magnificent creatures. This last between 2-7 hours to locate the giants, have an hour with them and after this encounter, return to the starting point for certificate of participation before driving back to set off your journey to Lake Bunyonyi where you will have you last night on this safari. This Lake will give you a relaxation experience.

Weak up early in the morning, have your breakfast, end your stay in the lodge “land of the Mountain Gorillas and depart with great memories of the moments spent with fascinating mountain Gorillas. Go for a canoe ride on Lake Bunyonyi before you depart to Entebbe for your flight back home. This lake is said to be one of the most beautiful places in western Uganda. It is the second deepest lake in Africa (900meters Deep) and also one of the few places in the country where it is considered safe to swim.

Broadbill Forest, located on the very edge of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, south of the village of Ruhija, just north of the road to Kabale that passes through the eastern part of the park.
