Today you will be met by your guide in Kampala. Head northwards via Masindi to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have a stopover at the Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch (Optional), a proud home of the only wild rhino in Uganda. The ranch has become increasingly popular with tourists for rhino trekking. Other activities such as shoe bill trek, canoe ride, bird watching and nature walk are optional on this safari. Continue the journey to Masindi for lunch and later to the park.

Get ready for an early wake-up as it’s in the early morning hours when the animals are at their most active. The sun is not yet so bright and temperatures are cooler affording the best time to spot wild animals. After an early breakfast, you will go out on a game drive to explore the northern part of the park. Come-eye-to- eye with the African animal monarchy: elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, different species of antelope and many tropical birds may all be spotted during the drive so keep your eyes open. In the afternoon you will take a boat cruise up the Nile River to Murchison Falls. Carefully watch the crocodiles, hundreds of hippos, buffaloes, water birds, monkeys, and all the other thirty wildlife that the Nile attracts as you approach the base of the 43m high falls with their thunderous sound.

After Breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala or Entebbe (airport) stopping in Nakasongola for lunch. Continue your journey to the airport for your onward flight.
