Your exciting adventure begins with an early 7:00 AM pick-up from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala. Set off on a scenic drive southwest to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its mist-covered hills and rich biodiversity.
En route, you’ll stop at the Equator line in Kayabwe for a photo opportunity and a chance to experience the Coriolis water experiment. Continue through the lush countryside, tea plantations.
You will Arrive at your lodge near Bwindi early evening. Check in, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure the next day.

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a detailed briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines and group allocation. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, you'll hike through the dense forest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the gorilla movements, but the moment you come face-to-face with these gentle giants is truly magical.
You will spend a full hour observing their behaviour, taking photographs, and absorbing the peaceful presence of these endangered primates.
In the afternoon, visit the Batwa community, the original forest dwellers. Engage in a cultural walk that reveals their traditional way of life, music, storytelling, and forest survival skills. This cultural experience offers deep insight into the human heritage connected to Bwindi.
