It is a beautiful city with its centuries-old history and rich culture. The Golden Gate of Kyiv. It is a historic gateway in the ancient city walls of Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. It was reputedly modeled on the Golden Gate of Constantinople, from which it took its name. You will enjoy amazing view of two golden-domed monastery complexes while walking along Sophiiska and Mykhailivska Squares. Monument to Bogdan Khmelnitsky is most known city monument, an original symbol of Kyiv. It is put up in honor of hetman Bogdan Khmelnitsky, who went down in history of Ukraine as an outstanding commander, statesman, headed the revolt of Ukrainian people against Rech Pospolitaya rule. Bogdan Khmelnitsky is also known for Pereyaclavskaya Rada that made Moskovia and Ukraine allies. We will show You Vladimir’s Cathedral the most prominent sacral painting complex of the late XIX c. decorated by world well-known artists. You will pass main Kyiv’s street – Khreshchatyk. Khreshchatyk began its history as a street in the end of 18 – the beginning of 19 centuries. Reconstruction and development of Khreshchatyk, caused a lot of different opinions, proceeds even today. In the late nineties of the last century it was decided to transform Khreshchatyk in a foot zone during days off and holidays. 13:00-14:00 Lunch at the local restaurant by your own. 14:00-18:00 You will visit the National Kyiv-Pechersk Caves’ Monastery Historical and Cultural Reserve. The monastery was set up in the mid XI century A.D. It is one of the most ancient monasteries on the territory of Eastern Slavonic states. During this tour you will visit Museum of Treasures displaying the rich Scythian Gold collection and collection of the Judaic ritual silver objects XVIII-XX c, Museum of Microminiatures. Please Note: Museum of Microminiatures is closed on Tuesday. Museum of Treasures is closed on Monday and every last Friday of month. 18:00 Transfer to your hotel.

The major exposition is located in 15 rooms covering the area of 5,000 square meters and includes more than 12,000 exhibits. The documents of military commanders; valuable collections of orders, medals and arms; unique things and documents of Nazi-occupation and liberation period. On the territory of the museum there is a large exposition of military equipment of Soviet epoch. 13:00-14:00 Lunch at the local restaurant by your own. 14:00-18:00 Visit to Mamaeva Sloboda (Includes liqueurs degustation). It is an Ukrainian folk style park, that has 98 facilities spread all over the area of more than 9 hectares, located 7 km from the city center and close to the historical source of the river Lybyd. Here you can see there the living history, as all the objects has their original view and functional purpose. We can arrange the following master classes on the territory of Mamaeva sloboda: Pottery master class; Blacksmithing master class; Archery master class; Saber fencing master class; Cooking dumplings or honey cakes; Painting eggs; Making traditional dolls; Cossack’ performance; The bell ringer’s performance.
