Tips
Travelers should bring lightweight, breathable clothing, sun protection (hat, sunscreen, sunglasses), insect repellent, a camera with extra batteries, and cash for local purchases. It's important to respect local customs—ask permission before taking photos and dress modestly. Be prepared for basic accommodation and limited amenities in remote areas. A knowledgeable local guide is essential for meaningful and respectful interactions with the tribes.
