Puerto Maldonado
This day begins with a comforting breakfast at 5:00 a.m.
We will embark on a trip to the parrot clay lick in a boat for 1h30min, observing a large part of the Peruvian Amazon fauna, we will be able to see shorebirds, capybaras, and white alligators among other animals.
Upon reaching our destination, we will have a show in the clay lick, we will observe parrots, and macaws of different colors, flying and making loud noises, this will be a beautiful spectacle.
We will have breakfast in front of the parrot clay licks.
Later we will return to our hostel where a delicious lunch awaits us.
In the afternoon we will return to the city of Puerto Maldonado to head towards the entrance of the Tambopata Reserve, upon arrival we will board a boat for 45 minutes until we reach the port of Lake Sandoval.
Upon arrival we will take a walk through a tropical forest as we progress we will see natural bamboo, a habitat of monkeys, sloths, and macaws until we reach our lodge, where our rooms will be delivered to us.
After a short rest, we will take a boat to go see the sunset accompanied by night monkeys and bats.
Finally, we will go to enjoy dinner and rest.
Our excursion starts very early at 5:00 a.m. with a comforting breakfast.
Then we will go in search of the giant otters, we will be able to observe them from very close since they are used for photographs, and we will also be able to appreciate different species of multicolored parrots.
Later we will take a walk where we will see trees from 300 to 450 years of age, in addition, we will have the teaching about medicinal plants that native people habitually use.
After a while, we will return to our lodge to enjoy our lunch, and in the afternoon we can go swimming with our guide.
Then we will return to the lodge to change and take our boat and embark on the adventure in search of black caimans and watch a spectacular sunset while enjoying the songs of birds and other animals.
At night we will enjoy dinner and then we can take a night walk to meet a wide variety of insects and tarantulas.
Our day starts at 5:00 a.m.
We will skirt around the lake in search of the giant otter and in search of a greater diversity of flora and fauna that inhabit the majestic Sandoval Lake, we will take advantage of the last ride to capture unforgettable moments on our tour.
We will return to the lodge to have breakfast, then return to the city of Puerto Maldonado.
