09:30, After breakfast, start your exciting day with one of the expert TukTuk driver guides in Galle. Your guide will drive you to the first place in your itinerary; the Spice Garden on Koggala Lake. There you will be taking part in a short tour around the Gardens where you will see the spice plantations and will be able to learn more about the spices of Sri Lanka.

10:45Your next stop will be the glimmering white Peace Pagoda on Rumassala. According to the Hindu literary classic Ramayana the hillock is believed to be the legendary piece of Himalayas believed to have been dropped by Hanuman.

12:00You will be taken to see a Sea Turtle Hatchery and Rehabilitation Center. You will be able to learn more about how the eggs are collected and hatched safely in order to protect them from predators.

Today after a good night’s sleep and breakfast, you will proceed to do a cycling tour where you will be taken through small dirt roads to a local village. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a walking tour in the dutch fort of Galle. Galle Fort was built by the Portuguese in 1588, and then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century. It is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance, due to extensive reconstruction work was done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka. The heritage value of the fort has been recognized by the UNESCO and the site has been inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
