On the first day, we pick up the group at the airport or at the border gate. After picking up the group with a private car, transit or taxi, we depart to Doğubayazıt. It takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to reach Doğubeyazıt from Van airport. Doğubeyazıt is a city at the foot of Mount Ararat. The distance between Doğubeyazıt and Ağrı airport is 1 hour and 45 minutes. The distance between Doğubeyazit and Iğdır is only 50 minutes. Whichever airport our customers choose, we also get to be present at that airport by car and pick up the group. We go to Doğubayazıt to the hotel, our customers stay at the hotel that night. The group can relax at the hotel if they want, or visit the bazaar center.
After having breakfast at the hotel between 6:30 and 7:30 in the morning on the 2nd day, that is, around 9:00, we put all our materials in the car, take the minibus with our local guide and head to the 2200 meter high village of Mount Ararat. After a journey of about 50 minutes, we arrive at the village of Çevirme (2200 meters). After downloading all our ingredients here, our private cook, who belongs to our group, gives a lunch package and a 1.5 liter water for lunch on the way. After the porters have loaded all the materials on the horses, we move towards the first camp. Our local guide takes small backpacks with group members and moves towards the first camp. The location of the car is approximately 8 kilometers between 2200 meters and the first camp, 3300 meters. It takes about 5 hours. We stop about three times on the way. When the group arrives at the camp, our cook prepares tea, hot water, coffee and snacks. After listening to our group in the kitchen, we set up a tent together. Thus, anyone can take a photo, and anyone can rest in the kitchen tent and drink tea or coffee. In the evening, after our cook prepares local dishes, meals are eaten at 6 or 6:30in the evening. After dinner, the person can have tea or coffee in the kitchen, and the person can take pictures of the stars outside at night.
After having breakfast in the morning on the 3th day, everyone packs their own tents around 9 o’clock and delivers their suitcases and all their materials to the hammers, except for the small backpack. Here, the head of staff loads the materials onto the horses and moves towards the second camp. Our cook also gives everyone a packed lunch and water. Our local guide takes the group to the second camp, 4200 meters. After a 3-hour journey, we arrive at the second camp and after arriving, we set up tents together. In addition, our cook prepares snacks and tea. After preparing our small tents and eating in the kitchen tent, those who want to take pictures outside also rest in their own tent. After having dinner at 5 or 5:30, our guide holds a meeting with the group. After making a brief statement, everyone goes to bed in their own tent to wake up early the next day.
After the summit we will back to second camp and some couple hour sleeping in tent after while descent back to car point 2200m meeting with our bus and drive to dogubayazit, and taking shower at hotel and drinking beer front of Ararat view and doing celebration for the peak and start we can visit dogubayazit historical and cultural places ishakpasha place urartian castle and evening join the dinner and transfer back to hotel and overnight stay in hotel.
