Day 1

Your unforgettable Amazon journey begins as you arrive at "El Puente Cuyabeno," the gateway to this pristine wilderness. After enjoying a box lunch, you'll board a motorized canoe for a breathtaking 2–3 hour ride down the narrow Cuyabeno River, where your eyes will be opened to the incredible biodiversity of the rainforest. Keep your camera ready as you might spot colorful birds, playful monkeys, and other wildlife along the riverbanks. Upon reaching the charming Amazon Lodge, you'll settle into your comfortable room before gathering for a welcome dinner. As the sounds of the jungle surround you, your guide will provide an informative briefing about the lodge, the Cuyabeno Reserve, and the exciting adventures that await in the coming days.

Day 2

Wake up to the symphony of the jungle and fuel up with a hearty breakfast before setting out to explore the stunning Laguna Grande. Glide across the waters in a paddle canoe, marveling at the unique ecosystem of the flooded forest where trees rise from the water like natural sculptures. After a hike along the "Palma Roja" trail, where you'll learn about the rainforest's intricate ecology, you'll enjoy a late lunch back at the lodge. The afternoon offers a chance to swim in the lake or simply relax while watching the vibrant Amazon sunset paint the sky. As night falls, embark on an optional walk to discover the fascinating world of nocturnal creatures.

Day 3

Rise early for a serene birdwatching excursion along the river, where the morning light reveals a flurry of avian activity. After breakfast, embark on a 2-hour paddle canoe ride, keeping an eye out for butterflies, monkeys, and other wildlife. The day’s highlight is a visit to the Siona and Cofan indigenous communities, where you’ll meet a local shaman who will share ancient wisdom about medicinal plants and may even perform a traditional healing ceremony. You’ll also witness the fascinating process of making Cassava bread, a staple of indigenous cuisine. Return to the lodge in the late afternoon, with time to visit Big Lake for another spectacular sunset. After dinner, venture out on a night walk to encounter the rainforest’s elusive nocturnal inhabitants

Day 4

Today’s adventure takes you to the serene Canagueno Lake, a hidden gem teeming with life. Travel by motorboat to the lake, then switch to a paddle boat for a peaceful exploration of its grassy shallows, where birds like jacanas and hoatzins feed. The lake’s calm waters and lush surroundings create the perfect setting for photography and quiet reflection. Return to the lodge for lunch, followed by free time to relax in a hammock or soak in the final hours of jungle serenity. In the evening, gather with fellow travelers for a farewell passion fruit cocktail and express your gratitude to the lodge staff who made your stay memorable.
