Today, our first visit is to the Scottish Parliament. The Scottish Parliament Building is the home of the Scottish Parliament at Holyrood, within the UNESCO World Heritage Site in central Edinburgh. Then we will visit the Palace of Holyrood House. Holyrood Palace is the official residence of the British monarch in Scotland. After that, we will walk through Holyrood Park, where you will see Arthur’s Seat, the highest point of this extinct volcano. If you want to trek up Arthur’s Seat, Edinburgh’s 251m high hill – slap bang in the city center. Our advice is to wrap up warm and plan with packed food you can tuck into when you reach the top. If you want, instead of trekking you can stroll through the park and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Holyrood Park and its amazing lakes or you can sit on the meadows. At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. Overnight in Edinburgh.

After breakfast, we will start our tour with the great Edinburgh Castle. The castle was built on rock and was built in 1103 AD during the Middle Ages and it was home to many British Royal Family Members like Mary Queen of Scots now it is open to the public as a museum. After the castle, we will move to Royal Mile. On the way, you will have some time to buy whisky in one of the whisky shops on the street. The name “Royal Mile” derives from it being the traditional processional route of monarchs. Royal Mile is located between Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyrood House. Later on, we will continue to the National Museum of Scotland, the objects in the museum reflect Scottish culture and history. Later on, we will continue to the Old Town, the original Edinburgh settlement. Finally, we will move to the hotel. Overnight in Edinburgh.

After breakfast, we will start our tour with George Street. George Street is a new town of Edinburgh it is defined as “the central thoroughfare of the First New Town of Edinburgh, planned in the 18th century by James Craig”. After that, we will walk down to the beautiful Princess Street Gardens. You can sit, relax, and drink coffee while enjoying the scenery of great Edinburgh Castle. Later on, we will move to the National Galleries of Scotland. The building of the gallery is neoclassical style and inside there are wonderful artworks that are worth seeing. After that, we will see the Scott Monument, which is the Victorian Gothic Monument and one of the largest monuments to a writer anywhere in the world. At the end of the tour, we will go to Calton Hill. When you climb the stairs and walk to the top, you will see the amazing Edinburgh city views. Also, the hill is home to the Collective Contemporary Art Gallery and the unfinished National Monument. Finally, the tour ends and we will move to the hotel.
