We shall explore the capital city of Albania, including some of the historical highlights, as city centre, Skanderbeg Statue, Et’hem bey mosque, Clock tower, Italian buildings and Martyrs’ of the Nation Boulevard. Visit the ex-communist buildings, painted with vibrant colors and the expansion of city.

After city Tour of Tirana you will depart to Berat. On the way you can have short coffee break and the it will serve in one local restaurant.

When you will arrive in Berat after a short break at the hotel in afternoon you will have the Walking tour of Berat Fortress

Berat (description tour) - Known as the “City of one thousand windows” and is declared a Museum City”. Berat, overshadowed to the east by Tomorr Mountain 2415 m, and is an ancient Illyrian settlement founded in the 4th & 5th centuries B.C. on the territory of the Illyrian tribe of Desarettes. The town is composed of 3 parts; Gorica, situated on the far side of the river; Mangalem, situated on the fortress side of the river and the Residential quarter within the fortress known as Kalaja. The old part of the city has some religious buildings like mosque and Byzantine churches. The old name of the city was Antipatrea.

Head to Mangalem Quarter to see some well-preserved Ottoman architecture buildings, the homes lining the narrow cobblestone pathways. Visit the King Mosque, and the dervish Tekke beautifully decorated and learn about the Bektashi sect of Muslims. (Optional Visits)

Syri i Kaltër (albanian version for "blue eye") is a karst spring located on the western slopes of Mount Mali Gjerë in Albania. It has a capacity of 6 m³/s. The water flows at a temperature of 12.75 °C; the depth of the source has not yet been established. The water in the inner source is a very dark blue, like the pupil of an eye, and a lighter color of blue as an outer ring - the iris, which gives the impression of a blue eye.

A shortly walk to city of saranda and then depart to Tirana. On the way to Tirana you will

enjoy the scenic mountain ride, descending the rocky shore and pristine beaches of Ioanian Sea, offering photo opportunities of the natural landscape, unique village settings, and fortress of Porto Palermo, Himara beach town, and Llogara National Park

Traditional lunch with grilled lamb from the area, assortment and salad, will be arranged in one of the local restaurants.
