This safari begins with a morning pick-up from Entebbe or Kampala by your professional driver-guide. Departing to Kibale Forest National Park, a lush rainforest known for hosting 13 species of primates, including our closest relatives—the chimpanzees. It's actually East Africa's renowned haven for primates watching.
In the afternoon, embark on a guided nature walk through the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, a community-run reserve rich in birdlife (including the Great Blue Turaco) and primates like colobus monkeys and mangabeys.

After an early breakfast, head to Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for a briefing before entering the forest to track chimpanzees. As you venture through the dense canopy, listen for their hoots and rustles—once spotted, you’ll enjoy an intimate hour observing their behaviour.
Later, drive southwards to Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in time for a late afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a waterway teeming with hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, elephants, and over 60 species of water birds.

Wake up early for a morning game drive through Kasenyi Plains, home to large herds of Uganda kob, elephants, lions, hyenas, and possibly a leopard. After the game drive, proceed to the southern Ishasha Sector, where you might spot the famous tree-climbing lions lounging in fig trees.
Continue with a scenic drive through terraced hills and lush forests to reach Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you’ll settle into your lodge for the night.

Today is the highlight of your safari. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. With a guide and armed rangers, hike through steep and thick forest terrain in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family.
Once located, you’ll spend one magical hour observing them feed, play, and rest—a life-changing experience.
In the afternoon, visit the Batwa pygmies, the original inhabitants of the forest. Learn about their traditional lifestyle, hunting skills, and cultural practices through storytelling, song, and dance.

After breakfast, start your return journey to Entebbe with a lunch stop en route and visit to the Equator for photograpghy. You’ll drive through the beautiful countryside, passing tea plantations and rolling hills.
Arrive in Entebbe in the evening. Depending on your flight time, you'll be dropped at Entebbe International Airport or at your hotel.
