The day starts with departure by bus from Florence towards the Cinque Terre. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off in Manarola, where you will have time for a short visit and to enjoy the views of this colorful seaside village. From Manarola, continue by train to Vernazza. Here, you can choose one of three experiences: a wine tasting in a local cellar, a wine tasting combined with a typical lunch featuring pesto, focaccia and local specialties, or a hands-on pesto-making class using a traditional mortar, followed by tasting with focaccia, cheese, olives and local wine. After the experience, enjoy some free time in Vernazza.
Next, travel by train to Riomaggiore, where you will have free time to explore the village. Continue by boat to Monterosso, enjoying the coastline from the sea. In Monterosso, relax on the beach, swim in the sea or stroll through the village. The day continues with a train ride back to Manarola, where the bus will be waiting to take you back to Florence.
Alternatively, if you choose the transfer-only option, you will be dropped off in Manarola and have around 7 hours of free time to explore the Cinque Terre independently, before returning to Florence from the same meeting point.
