Itinerary

Day 1

Meet at the airport Transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore Bursa. Overnight in Bursa.

Day 2

(Breakfast included) After breakfast, we will be picked up from your hotel and start our amazing tour. We start our Bursa tour, which is the first capital of the Ottoman Empire, with a visit to the Bursa Grand Mosque, one of the most beautiful works of the early Ottoman period built by Yıldırım Beyazıd. After visiting Bedesten (Grand Bazaar) in the immediate vicinity, we visit the Green Tomb and Green Mosque, which are famous for their green tiles, and have a nice tea break. We move to the tombs of Osman Gazi and Orhan Gazi, the founders of the Ottoman Empire. Then we visit the Bursa City Museum, which reflects the history of Bursa during the Ottoman and Republican eras. Afterwards, we give a tea break at the 600-year-old Historical Plane Tree, which is on the outskirts of Uludağ, and complete our trip and head out to Istanbul. We complete our tour in the evening and return to our hotel. Overnight in Bursa.

Day 3

(Breakfast and lunch included) After breakfast, we take our guests from the hotel and depart to a local restaurant for your professional cooking lesson. You participate in your first Turkish cooking lesson: During our Bursa cooking tour, you will taste various flavors of Bursa and in the menu Iskender kebab, Inegol meatballs, Pita Meatballs and a dessert , preparing lunch which you will enjoy! After lunch you will depart to city center for free time and shopping before return your hotel. After the tour drop back to your hotel. Overnight in Bursa.

Day 4

(Breakfast included) Turkish Bath, called “hamam” in Turkish which has been present in Turkey for thousands of years. The tradition of the Turkish bath extends far back, to a time before Turks had reached Anatolia. When the Turks arrived in Anatolia, they brought with them a bathing tradition and were confronted with another, that of Romans and Byzantines, with certain local variants. After we pick you up from your hotel, we will take you to one of the traditional Baths in Bursa, which has historical buildings.There is a few main procedures during the bath. When you arrive, the staff will provide you a cubicle in which you take off your clothes and wear the waist cloth. After changing, you will be taken to the Sicaklik (Hot Room) of the Turkish Bath that would help your muscles loosen up and you will continue to the warm room of the bath, The staff (tellak for men and natir for women) will scrub you down using Turkish soap and a special cloth that gets out all your old skin blocking your pores. Once you are finished, you will be taken to the Sogukluk (Cold Room) and given towels to wrap yourself in. Then, you can pay for having a massage or you can just relax and order some tea or other drinks as you would like. As last, after you get dressed, you will feel your skin renewed like a baby skin. That's the magic of Turkish bath. Overnight in Bursa.

Day 5

(Breakfast included) After breakfast, we head towards Mudanya. Mudanya Mutareke House Museum, which was the building of Mudanya Armistice, which belonged to the Russian origin Alexander Ganyanof at the end of the XIX century, in Mudanya, which passed as the place where the Mudanya Armistice was signed at the end of the Turkish War of Independence. After we saw and photographed Tahir Pasha Mansion in Mudanya, where Kumkaya Church, which was the best examples of Ottoman houses, was built during the period of Konstantinos Porphyrogenetos and we went to Trilye (Zeytinbağı). Trilye de Fatih Mosque, which is an old Greek settlement, Kemerli Church, the walls of which were painted for the first time in history, Dundar House (Yohannes Church), which is an old church building, and Taş Mektep, which was built as Pastor School and served as a school until 1980s. After the trips, we have lunch at our fish restaurant on the beach. Then we move to Lake Uluabat after the Trilye Olive shopping break, which is one of the best table olives grown in our country. We start the tour of Uluabat Lake from the village of Gölyazı, which was established on the shore. After drinking our tea under the 450-year-old plane tree in the village square, walking through the narrow cobbled streets and walking among the old city walls, we move to our hotel in Bursa. Overnight in Bursa.

Day 6
