Hanoi

Today is the 3rd day of Tết, Vietnam's traditional New Year.
Around 1pm: After lunchtime, our guide and driver will meet you
at your accommodation in Hanoi, head to Ha Giang by the highway (5,5 - 6 hrs
drive).
Upon arrival at a homestay or small hotel in Ha Giang city,
check-in and rest.
Dinner and overnight in Ha Giang.
Breakfast at homestay, then we head to Du Gia with many stops to
enjoy the magnificent landscape en route at Quan Ba (the Fairy Mountain), Yen
Minh pinewood, and the long mountain ranges in Yen minh - Du gia.
We will go light
trekking to the waterfall Tham Luong at Du Gia and intermingle with the Tay,
H'mong, Dao ethnic people in their traditional costumes celebrating the New
Year.
Lunch en route.
Go on to Dong Van Stone Plateau, on the way, the group visited
Sung La Valley, Dong Van district, known to many people through the special
movie "Pao's Story".
Visit Vuong family mansion, a unique architectural work, the
pride of the highland people along with heroic historical stories.

Breakfast at homestay, this morning you will be able to
take a boat up Nho Que river, through Tu San canyon to see the majesty of Ha
Giang. After the boat trip we pass through Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the
"four great passes" of the North, then continue to Cao Bang province.
Lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we head to Cao Bang. You will conquer more
passes with beautiful mountain and forest scenery such as Giang pass, Gio pass,
Cao Bac pass.
Check
in homestay and have dinner. Overnight in Cao Bang.
After breakfast, we’ll head to Nguom Ngao Cave to visit,
this is a cave formed more than 400 million years ago with beautiful limestone
stalactites. Then we will go to admire Ban Gioc Waterfall, whose height is 53m,
divided into 3 floors. Considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and
the largest one in Southeast Asia, Ban Gioc is also one of the few majestic
waterfalls located on the border of two countries in the world as a natural
watershed.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will hike around Khuoi Ky Stone
Village & Phia Thap Village, with its original stilt houses, bringing the
unique beauty of the Northeast mountains.
Back to homestay checkin and rest after that, dinner at
homestay. Overnight in Ban Gioc.
Breakfast
at homestay, say goodbye to Cao Bang, we’ll go to Bac Kan (4 hrs drive).
After
lunch, we will head to the boat dock at Ba Be Lake, a freshwater lake in Bac
Kan, Vietnam. This is the largest natural freshwater lake in Vietnam and one of
the one hundred largest freshwater lakes in the world.
You
will take a boat to explore Dau Dang Waterfall and learn about the life,
culture and customs of ethnic minority villages on the mountainside by the
lake. As one of the most beautiful freshwater lakes in Northeast Vietnam, Ba Be
Lake is clear all year round and boat trips on the lake attract tourists,
scientists and students thanks to its rare flora and fauna.

Overnight
in Ba Be.
After
breakfast, we will pack up their luggage and enjoy the scenery of Ba Be Lake,
then set out to return to Hanoi.

3pm, arrive in Hanoi and say goodbye to our guide and
driver.
