Itinerary

Day 1

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and assisted by Sense of Africa representative. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha arriving in time for check in. Rest of the day at leisure. All meals are excluded. OVERNIGHT : Palace Hotel/ Four Point By Sheraton/ Arusha Coffee Lodge
Day 2

After breakfast, rejoin your safari driver guide and drive to the Eastern edge of Tarangire National Park arriving at Nimali Tarangire in time for lunch. Tarangire National Park which hosts among other species Buffalo, Elephant, Lion, Warthog, Eland, the Fringe-eared Oryx, Lesser and Greater Kudu, Gerenuk, and large numbers of Impala. Afternoon game viewing drive.OVERNIGHT Sangaiwe Tented Lodge/ Tarangire Sopa Lodge/ Lemala Mpingo Lodge
Day 3

After breakfast at the Lodge, depart and drive to Manyara area Lunch at the Lodge/Camp Afternoon game drive in Lake Manyara National Park The Park stretches from the base of the dramatic Rift Valley escarpment to its famous soda lake. It is truly one of the most beautiful places in Africa. As you enter the gate, the park is dramatically marked off by lush green vegetation consisting of tall trees emerging from the groundwater forest, which provides a home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. Further down, the forest opens up into woodland, grassland and swamps. Further down lies the soda lake itself, where over 350 species of birds, including the lively flamingo, pelican, sacred ibis, grebe and stork, can be viewed. This park is a bird watcher’s paradise! Manyara is also known for its numerous buffalo, elephant, giraffe, impala, hippo, large variety of smaller animals, and of course: the very elusive tree-climbing lions. Day 4

Day 5

0500Hrs Early morning optional balloon ride with champagne-style breakfast.} At a supplement of US$ 535 per person Full day spent is spent in Serengeti with scheduled morning and late afternoon game drives or clients can opt for a full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes from the camp. These vast, seemingly unending plains are inhabited during the migration by enormous herds of wildebeest and zebra. There is a great diversity of wildlife here, including lion, leopard, cheetah, impala, buffalo, birds and up to ten thousand elephants. Day 6

Breakfast Depart and drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area Lunch at the Lodge/Camp Rest of a day at leisure – with optional activities. OVERNIGHT : Country Lodge/ Ngorongoro Serena/ O’ldeani Mountain Lodge
Day 7

After breakfast at the Lodge, commence drive to the floor of the crater for crater tour. Quite possibly the most famous of all Africa’s conservation areas, this is one of the places where you stand a good chance of seeing the Big 5. The enduring charm of Ngorongoro stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident here. Later you will return to your camp. Late afternoon drive back to your Lodge in Karatu area. OVERNIGHT : Country Lodge/ Ngorongoro Serena/ O’ldeani Mountain Lodge
Day 8

After breakfast at the Lodge, you will commence your drive to Arusha Lunch will be served at the Restaurant in Arusha Later transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight
