Quito
Bogota
After landing in Ecuador’s capital,
you’ll be transferred to Hotel Vieja Cuba, located in one of the city's most
traditional neighborhoods. Once settled, you’ll have time to explore the nearby
streets of Quito’s Old Town at your own pace—admire historic buildings, try
local snacks, or simply take in the high-altitude views. You can rest at the
hotel.
Today begins with a scenic drive from
Quito to Mindo, a small town surrounded by Ecuador’s cloud forest and famous
for its rich biodiversity and cacao traditions. Your visit to El Quetzal
chocolate farm includes a hands-on tour where you’ll follow the journey from
fresh cacao fruit to finished chocolate, tasting every step along the way.
You'll also have the chance to take a short walk on nearby trails to spot
native birds and plants unique to this vibrant ecosystem. A fresh lunch
prepared with local ingredients and a chocolate dessert round out your visit
before returning to Quito for a relaxing evening at your hotel.
This morning, you'll enjoy a guided
sensory experience at Kamm, a boutique chocolate space in Quito
dedicated to showcasing Ecuador’s finest cacao. Through a curated tasting
session, you’ll explore the unique flavors, aromas, and textures of
high-quality chocolate while learning about the bean-to-bar process. Discover
how factors like cacao origin, fermentation, and roasting influence each
variety’s profile, and gain a deeper appreciation for Ecuador’s rich cacao
heritage. The experience is both educational and delicious—ideal for visitors
of all ages. After the tasting, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch on your
own and continue exploring Quito at your own pace. In the afternoon, you may
choose to relax at the hotel or take a peaceful stroll through the
neighborhood.
Start your day with a direct flight from
Quito to Bogotá, arriving before noon. After checking in at your hotel, head to
an engaging sensory experience that combines two of Colombia’s most iconic
products: coffee and chocolate.
Get ready for a full-day experience just
outside the city that brings you closer to the roots of Colombian coffee.
Travel to a nearby coffee farm and take part in the daily activities of local
growers—from picking ripe beans to learning about the drying process and
tasting fresh coffee right on-site. This hands-on experience is designed for
visitors of all ages and includes a traditional Colombian breakfast and lunch.
You'll also receive a small bag of coffee as a souvenir. After a full day of
learning and enjoying the countryside, return to Bogotá for a relaxed evening.
Begin your day with a hands-on coffee
workshop at Divino Café Especial in the heart of La Candelaria. Try different
brewing methods like Chemex, V60, and French Press, and explore how each one
brings out unique flavors from Colombian coffee. Return to Hotel Música.
Today is yours to enjoy Bogotá however
you choose. Whether you're looking to pick up handcrafted souvenirs, visit a
museum, stroll through the colorful streets of La Candelaria, or relax in a
local café with a cup of rich Colombian coffee, the day is open for your own
discoveries. Families and travelers of all ages can enjoy walking through
open-air markets, admiring local art, or simply taking it slow in one of the
city’s many parks.
Your final morning in Bogotá begins with
a quiet breakfast featuring freshly brewed Colombian coffee, a last taste of
the rich aromas that have accompanied your journey. You’ll have a bit of free
time to double-check your bags, enjoy a short walk near your hotel, or relax
before your transfer. When the time comes, a private vehicle will take you to
El Dorado International Airport for your return flight home. As you depart,
you’ll carry with you not only coffee beans and souvenirs, but also the
flavors, experiences, and warmth of Ecuador and Colombia.
