Here we will stop in Constanta city, a formal greek settlement and one of the oldest and most important harbors by the Black Sea. Here we will enjoy a guided walking tour in the city center, during which we will see: the Casino, the Petru and Pavel church, Romania’s biggest mosque, and Ovidiu Market with the most important musums in the city: the roman mosaic, the ruins of the ancient city of Tomis and the archaeology museum helding the treasure of this city. Constanta is a highlight on our Day Trip to Constanta from Bucharest.
The seaside is probably the most visited tourist destination in the county. Thousands of Romanians make their annual holiday in one of the seaside resorts. If you want to take a tour of the resorts, the best is to do this in the summer. Some of them are closed in the winter.
After having learned so much, we will now head to Mamaia beach resort, Romania’s most famous and beloved location by the Black Sea. The resort was founded during the Royal Times, and remained ever since a favorite place for elite holidays. We will also have the time to briefly enjoy the golden soft sand and the refreshing sparkling water of our beautiful sea. Mamaia sea resort is the second highlight on our Day Trip to Constanta from Bucharest.
Now it is time to head back to the capital city. We will end the day in Bucharest with private drop-off at your hotel.
