Upon
arrival in Almaty, you will be welcomed at the airport and transferred to your
hotel. We will start the tour with a visit to the central part of the city,
exploring historic buildings, beautiful cathedrals, city squares, and the
famous Almaty Park. The day will end with a visit to Kok Tobe Hill, offering
panoramic views of the city.

After
breakfast, we will drive to the stunning Charyn Canyon for exploration and
photo opportunities. Then we continue to Saty village where you will enjoy
lunch at a local guesthouse. In the afternoon, we visit Kolsai Lake, a
beautiful alpine lake surrounded by forested mountains, where you can relax and
enjoy the scenery.

We
start with breakfast and then transfer to the Kegen border post to cross into
Kyrgyzstan on foot. After a picnic lunch in nature, we proceed to Karakol. The
city tour includes visits to the Dungan Mosque, Holy Trinity Cathedral, and
Bugu Bazaar. Dinner will be hosted by a local Dungan family, with an optional
folklore music show to enrich your cultural experience.

After
breakfast, we travel to Altyn Arashan Gorge via Soviet-era vehicle, where you
can enjoy natural mineral hot springs and relax. Lunch will be served at a
traditional yurt camp. Returning to Karakol by UAZ vehicle, we then transfer to
Jeti Oguz Valley, famous for its red rock formations. Dinner and overnight will
be at a yurt camp.
In winter, we replace Altyn Arashan with a visit to a ski resort (ski resort
expenses not included).

We explore the natural wonders of Jeti Oguz Valley including the Broken
Heart rock formation and Maiden’s Braid waterfall by foot or horseback. Then we
visit Barskoon Gorge with a short hike to one of its waterfalls and see the
monument dedicated to cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin. After lunch at a yurt café, we
stop at Skazka Canyon before heading to Kaji Say village on the shore of
Issyk-Kul Lake, where you will have free time to relax by the lake.

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
We leave Kaji Say after breakfast and stop in Bokonbaevo village to witness
an eagle hunting demonstration.
Next, we visit Kizil Tuu village to enjoy lunch with a local family and
watch a traditional yurt assembly show.
On the way to Bishkek, we visit the historic Burana Tower in Tokmok. Upon
arrival in Bishkek, dinner will be served at a local restaurant.
