XtraCold Icebar Amsterdam offers a unique experience near Amsterdam’s famous Rembrandtplein, known as the city’s “hottest” yet coldest bar. The experience begins as you step into the world of Dutch explorer Willem Barentsz, reliving his 1596 Arctic expedition aboard his ship, the Mercury, brought to life with immersive effects. After enjoying a welcome cocktail in the lounge, you enter the ice room cooled to -10°C. Built using around 60 tons of natural ice, the bar features walls, furniture, decorations, and even glasses made entirely of ice. Once bundled up in your thermal gear, you can choose two additional drinks and enjoy spectacular light effects while sipping your beverage in one of the coldest bars in the world. Built from approximately 60 tons of natural ice, the bar’s walls, furniture, and even glasses are entirely made of ice; here, two additional complimentary drinks are served while guests enjoy impressive light effects.
