Day 2

This morning our adventure begins. After a warm greeting from your guide, we’ll kick off the day with a hearty Balkan breakfast, including the famous Bosnian pies, or “burek,” baked under a traditional bell. Fully recharged, we’ll head straight to the heart of Sarajevo—Baščaršija Quarter, a historical gem that dates back to the Ottoman period. Wander through its cobbled streets, past mosques, shops, and coffee houses, before diving into a city tour that highlights key sites like the Gazi Husrev-beg Mosque and the Latin Bridge, where Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated. After working up an appetite, we’ll enjoy a delicious traditional Bosnian lunch at “Four Rooms of Mrs. Safiya,” a local favorite. In the afternoon, check in to your hotel for some rest before heading to “Kibe Mahala” for a dinner of Sarajevo specialties like ćevapi and pitas, accompanied by a glass of local wine.

Day 3

After breakfast and check-out, we begin our scenic journey south to the Herzegovina region. Our first stop is Konjic, a charming town known for its dramatic history. Explore the renowned “Atomic City,” a massive Cold War-era underground bunker. Wander through its maze of corridors, chambers, and rooms, uncovering its secrets. Next, dive into the art of woodcarving at a local museum showcasing the exquisite craftsmanship of the region. Continuing south, we reach Mostar, a city famed for its iconic Stari Most (Old Bridge) and rich Ottoman history. Spend time exploring the picturesque Old Bazaar and soaking in the vibrant atmosphere of this Herzegovina jewel. In the afternoon, head to the tranquil banks of the Buna River for check-in at your hotel. As the day winds down, enjoy a traditional Wine & Food Pairing Experience, indulging in the best local flavors and wines in a delightful setting.

Day 4

 Once we are done with check-out, we head to the captivating springs of the Buna River, where the Dervish Tekki stands in a breathtaking natural setting. Enjoy a traditional Bosnian breakfast before we continue to Počitelj, a medieval town that beautifully blends Balkan, Mediterranean, and Oriental styles. Explore its cobbled streets and ancient fortress, offering panoramic views of the Neretva River. We then travel to the peaceful Hutovo Blato wetlands, where a boat ride through this serene landscape provides a chance to appreciate its rich wildlife.

Next, we journey to Trebinje, the southernmost town of Bosnia and Herzegovina, where we savor a traditional Herzegovinian lunch before crossing the Bosnian-Croatian border into Dubrovnik. After check-in, relax before exploring the ancient city walls of Dubrovnik, offering stunning views over the Adriatic Sea. Crossing into Montenegro, we visit the Savina Winery, set within a historic monastery, where we savor Montenegrin premium wines during a delightful Wine & Food Pairing dinner. After a day full of history, beauty, and flavor, we check into our hotel to unwind and relax.

Day 6

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel before embarking on a scenic boat tour through the enchanting Boka Bay, one of the most stunning bays of the Adriatic Sea. As we glide past Kotor Town, you’ll hear tales of Boka’s legendary pirates and naval forces, whose power and influence once stretched across the seas. The journey takes us to Risan, the ancient capital of the mighty Illyrian nation, where you’ll feel the weight of history as you explore its rich heritage. Pause for a delicious lunch with breathtaking views at “Conte” restaurant, nestled at the entrance to the bay. From there, we continue to Perast, a town once home to naval merchants, where the UNESCO-protected Old Town takes you back in time.

A short boat ride will bring us to the iconic Island of Our Lady of the Rocks, a marvel of engineering and devotion built by local sailors in the 15th century. The island houses a unique monastery, standing as a testament to the craftsmanship of the Adriatic’s sea-faring past. As we continue to Porto Montenegro, you’ll be awestruck by this modern marvel, blending luxury with the historic charm of the region. Day 7

We begin our journey towards the central coastal region of Montenegro, with a stop at Budva, one of the oldest cities on the Southeast Adriatic coast and a popular summer resort. Here, we will explore the charming Old Town, walking through its lovely streets and past ancient stone houses, all while uncovering the fascinating stories that have shaped this historic city. After immersing ourselves in Budva’s culture, we venture into the natural beauty of Montenegro. A boat tour of the stunning Skadar Lake awaits, where the serene waters, lush landscapes, and diverse wildlife will leave you in awe. As we cruise through the lake’s peaceful surroundings, you’ll experience the tranquility and unspoiled nature of this hidden treasure. Afterward, we return to Boka Bay to rest before heading to Catovica Mlini for a delightful dinner, where the local flavors of Montenegro will be perfectly showcased in a relaxing, scenic setting.

Day 8

After checking out from the hotel, we will embark on an unforgettable journey towards Podgorica. First, we take a cable car for a breathtaking panoramic ride over the stunning Boka Bay, ascending to the top of Mt. Lovćen. At the summit, we visit the renowned mausoleum of Njegoš, where we learn about the fascinating stories of Montenegro’s theocratic rulers from the 18th and 19th centuries. Continuing our exploration, we head to the royal town of Cetinje, where we immerse ourselves in the magnificent legacy of the Petrovic Royal Family. Here, we take a moment to enjoy the delicious, traditional Cetinje cream pie, a local delicacy. Our next stop is the Šipčanik Wine Cellar, where we indulge in a spectacular lunch paired with Montenegro’s finest wines and authentic specialties. After this delightful experience, we make our way to Podgorica Airport for our final departure, concluding our unforgettable journey through Montenegro.
