You will be rewarded for your efforts on this uphill Cabo hike as there is a beautiful river along the way and fresh-water pools, natural water slides, and a larger pool nestled at the base of a waterfall. You really can’t get any more picturesque than this! Make sure to pack your swimming suit so that you can jump into the water. There’s nothing more satisfying than swimming outdoors on a hot day.

Day 1

AVAILABILITY:
  • Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays.
DEPARTURE TIME:
  • 9 am (Pick-ups start an hour earlier)

  • 6 hours 30 minutes (includes round-trip transportation).

ITINERARY:

8.00 - 9.00 am  Pick up at the hotel
9.00 - 10.10 am  Drive to Santiago.
10.10 - 10.40 am  Round at Santiago
10.40 - 1.30  pm Hiking across the Fox Canyon
1.30 - 2.00 pm Transfer to restaurant
2.00 -  3.00  pm Lunch time at Miraflores
3.00- 4.00 pm Transfer back to Hotel.
The activity includes round-trip transportation from your hotel within the hotel zone of San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. 

The Hard Rock, Nobu, Diamante, Rancho San Lucas hotels are located 40 minutes from the hotel zone, the meeting point for these hotels is: PLAZA GALI, Parking Lot (Oxxo) Blvd. Paseo de la Marina 36, ​​Centro, Marina, 23450 Cabo San Lucas, B.C.S., Mexico.



FOR CRUISE PASSENGERS:
As you walk from the tender pier through the pier security gate, turn right on the red sidewalk that borders the harbor. The Gali Plaza will be on your left, the water on your right. Walk approximately 20 yards to the Cruise Terminal building. The building will be on your left and has a sign saying API in blue letters.
Enter the terminal building and walk to the far side where you will exit onto a parking lot. At the parking lot exit, you will see an Oxxo convenience store. Your guide will be waiting in front of the store.

Our round trip transportation covers hotels in San Jose del Cabo, the corridor, and the Cabo San Lucas tourist area. Pick up is approximately one hour before the start of your tour. Upon booking, you can specify your exact hotel. Please contact us to confirm your specific time of pick up one day before your scheduled tour.

We do not offer transportation from hotels outside of the tourist area, such as Hard Rock, Nobu, or Four Seasons (these are approx. 50 min. away from the tourist area); for those hotels, we will pick you up at our standard meeting point:

  • Comfortable walking shoes and clothing must be worn – NO sandals.
  • Know your limits – medium difficulty level hike.
HEALTH RESTRICTIONS:
  • This hike is not apt for individuals with back problems, expectant mothers, or serious medical conditions.
  • Please note that this tour is not wheelchair accessible.
QUESTIONS:

  • Do I have to be in good physical condition to go on this hiking tour? Our Fox Canyon hiking tour is considered medium difficulty level, therefore participants should be in good physical condition and at least moderately fit to go on this hike.
  • When the weather conditions are not favorable is a refund made? Your safety is our priority, when the conditions are not favorable, due to rain or a tropical storm, we offer to change the day of your reservation or make a refund.
  • Does the weather affect the tours? As we know the weather is a factor that can lead us to modify our day, we will have to change location, reschedule, and/or cancel (the refund will be issued 100% in case of cancellation by us). 
  • what's your cancellation policy? For a full refund, cancel at least 48 hours in advance of the start date of the experience. No-show or last-minute cancellations will be charged in full.
