Arrive at Cairo International Airport, where you will be met by our representative. Drive to Sofitel Cairo Nile El Gezirah hotel, your home for 2 nights.
An in depth visit to the Giza Plateau; Including the Great Pyramids and The Sphinx. Lunch stop at a local restaurant. Drive to visit the Grand Egyptian museum. Drive back to your hotel to enjoy leisure time.
Early morning flight from Cairo Airport to Luxor for 4 nights stay onboard Esmeralda Nile Cruise on Full-Board basis. Upon arrival, visit to the great Temples of Karnak, the largest complex temple on earth, exploring the main complex dedicated to Amon-Ra the king of Gods; in addition to the hidden shrines surrounding the main complex and The Precinct of Mut where Sekhmet is strongly presented, followed by a visit to Papyrus Museum. Drive to your Nile cruise for embarkation and lunch. Evening visit to Luxor Temple, beautifully lit at night, which will enable us to have a close look at the stunning reliefs of one of the most magnificent temples in the world. Drive back to your Nile cruise for leisure time. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight in Luxor.
Enjoy breakfast, drive to cross the Nile by the bridge to the West Bank of Luxor, where we are going to start unforgettable visits to the Valley of the Kings, the most visited archaeological site in the world, followed by a visit to Alabastar Factory to see how ancient workers used stones to produce different hand-made crafts, followed by a visit to Al Deir Al Bahari where The Temple of Queen Hatshepsut is located. Drive back to your Nile cruise for lunch and set sail towards Edfu via Esna Lock. Enjoy dinner onboard and stay overnight in Edfu.
Enjoy breakfast, morning visit to The House of God Horus Temple, the most preserved temple in Egypt. Set sail to Kom-Ombo, where you will visit God Sobek Temple right on the Nile Shore. Continue sailing to Aswan. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight.
Enjoy breakfast, drive to Philae Island Dock for a boat trip to the temple of Isis at Philae, often said to be the most picturesque temple in Egypt, and the inspiration for many Egyptianized buildings in Europe, followed by a visit to the Nubian Museum to have a unique experience about Nubian culture and life style. A visit to the perfume and natural oils gallery. Drive back to your Nile Cruise. Enjoy lunch and dinner onboard. Stay overnight in Aswan.
