Cartagena
Santa Marta
Arrive in Cartagena, Colombia’s Caribbean treasure, where colonial elegance meets tropical rhythm. A private transfer takes you to your hotel in the heart of the old city or nearby beaches. Take your first stroll among colorful facades, cobbled streets, and lively plazas. Breathe in the sea air, feel the heat of the Caribbean sun, and settle into the warm, welcoming energy of the coast—your adventure has just begun!
Meals: -
Today, discover the magic of Cartagena through a guided city tour that brings its history to life. Walk through centuries-old forts, flower-draped balconies, and iconic landmarks like the Clock Tower and San Felipe Castle. Learn about the city’s pirate past, Afro-Caribbean influences, and vibrant street culture. The rest of the day is yours to shop for local crafts, sip cocktails at a rooftop bar, or watch the sunset from the ancient walls.
Meals: Breakfast
Leave the city behind as you head east toward Colombia’s most iconic coastal paradise—Tayrona. This lush national park is a haven of white-sand beaches, dense rainforest, and indigenous spirit. After checking into your nearby eco-lodge, enjoy a gentle hike or relax by the sea. Let the sounds of waves and birdsong ease you into the serene rhythm of nature.
Meals: Breakfast
Important Note: Please note that the Ecohabs are rustic accommodations located within Tayrona National Natural Park. They do not feature air conditioning or hot water, and bathrooms are located on the lower level of each two-story unit. Access involves climbing many steps, so they are not recommended for guests with limited mobility. Additionally, Tayrona Park closes to visitors three times a year—from February 1–15, June 1–15, and the last two weeks of October—to allow for ecological recovery, as requested by local Indigenous communities. Please plan accordingly.
Get ready for an unforgettable eco-adventure in Taironaka, a sacred natural reserve once inhabited by the ancient Tayrona civilization. Hike through the jungle past archaeological ruins and vibrant wildlife, then float down a crystal-clear river in a tranquil tubing experience. It’s a perfect mix of culture, nature, and a dash of adrenaline—all surrounded by stunning scenery.
Meals: Breakfast
Today’s journey takes you up into the misty Sierra Nevada mountains to the peaceful village of Minca. Nestled among cloud forests, waterfalls, and coffee farms, this hidden gem is the perfect place to reconnect with nature. Settle into your eco-lodge and enjoy an afternoon exploring nearby trails, swimming in river pools, or simply soaking in the mountain views.
Meals: Breakfast
Discover the full journey of Colombia’s world-famous coffee at a local finca (farm). Learn how beans are cultivated, harvested, and roasted—and of course, enjoy fresh tastings surrounded by lush greenery. After the tour, take time to unwind, birdwatch, or hike to a hidden waterfall. This is Minca at its best: slow, sensory, and soul-refreshing.

For travelers planning to explore Colombia’s natural reserves, national parks, and jungle regions—such as the Amazon, Tayrona, or Rio Claro—the yellow fever vaccine is strongly recommended and, in some cases, required. The vaccine should be administered at least 10 days before travel, and a valid certificate may be requested upon entry to certain protected areas. While not mandatory for all regions, having the vaccine adds an important layer of protection and ensures smooth access to Colombia’s biodiverse destinations. Consult with your healthcare provider or a travel clinic prior to departure.
