In the afternoon, your Cusco City Tour begins at around 1:30 p.m. You will visit the most important historical and archaeological sites in and around the city, starting with the Cusco Cathedral, one of the most impressive colonial temples in Peru.
Then, you will continue to Qorikancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, one of the most sacred temples of the Inca Empire. Afterward, you will visit Sacsayhuaman, famous for its massive stone walls and panoramic views of Cusco. The tour continues to Qenqo, Puka Pukara, and Tambomachay, important archaeological sites related to Inca ceremonies, military control, and water worship.
At the end of the tour, you will return to Cusco. The evening is free to enjoy dinner on your own.
