The captivating South Valley Tour commences at approximately 8:30 am with a convenient pick-up from your chosen hotel in Cusco City.

In the morning, at the agreed time, our transportation will arrive at your hotel to collect you and embark on the enchanting South Valley Tour Cusco, heading towards the South East of Cusco along the Cusco – Puno route.

After a scenic journey of about an hour, you will reach the town of Tipón. From there, you will ascend the mountain in our comfortable car to reach the archaeological center bearing the same name. Tipón is a remarkable archaeological complex featuring 12 cultivation terraces enclosed by stunning walls constructed with intricately carved stones. The highlight of this site is its impressive irrigation system, which continues to be utilized for agriculture in the surrounding towns to this day.

Subsequently, we will return to the main route and arrive at Pikillacta, a vast urban center associated with the pre-Inca culture known as Wari. This magical place comprises over 1000 structures, including Colcas, squares, houses, temples, and streets. Some of these buildings tower up to four stories high.

Our final destination will be the extraordinary colonial village of Andahuaylillas, where you will visit its remarkable 16th-century church, also known as the Sistine Chapel of America. Adorned with exquisite 17th and 18th-century decorations on its walls and ceilings, gilded canvases, baroque altarpieces, and impressive murals by the artist Tadeo Escalante, this church is a sight to behold. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to marvel at the famous Pentalingu gate.

Upon concluding this remarkable excursion, our transport will return you to Cusco city, where you will be dropped off at the city center. You can expect to arrive at approximately 2:00 pm.
