We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning for our exciting tour. The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, which was founded in 1921, will be the first stop on the tour. This museum presents artifacts from the Paleolithic Age to the present to give a summary of human civilization. You will have the chance to explore the ideal exhibition about the Hittites, Phrygians, Urartians, and Late Hittite periods of ancient Anatolian cultures.
Next, we will visit the Ankara Castle, which is believed to date back to the late Hittite period and is one of the oldest sites in Ankara. Ottomans, Seljuks, and Romans all used the castle. Here you can explore the city with a bird's-eye view. We will then visit the Augustus Temple, also known as Ancyranum, built by the Romans in 25–20 bc. The temple is well-known for its Greek inscriptions, and it was later converted into a basilica during the Christian era.
During the excursion, we'll make a stop at the Haci Bayram Mosque, which is unique in the city with its architectural features and interior decoration. Before going to the Mausoleum of Ataturk, we'll have some leisure time to grab lunch and rest. Ataturk oversaw the nation, established a democratic and secular Turkish republic, and was a key player in the country's independence war. The mausoleum, the Lion's Road, the museum, the towers with symbolic meanings, and other parts of it will tell you the valiant history of the nation.
The Kizilay neighborhood, which is the last stop of our tour, is a popular district in Ankara, and we'll wrap up our tour with a stroll there. The tour ends with the hotel transfer.
