Your journey will take you to the breathtaking Anatolian region to explore the ruined city of Myra, where you can marvel at the impressive Lycian rock-cut tombs, the ancient amphitheater, and the Church of St Nicholas, which is dedicated to the saintly man who inspired the legend of Father Christmas.

Meanwhile, Myra, near the expanding present-day town of Demre, boasts some of the finest examples of Lycian funerary architecture. The site is approximately a mile from the town and includes a vast Roman theatre built against a cliff face that also houses two impressive sets of Lycian tombs.

You will also enjoy a boat trip to Kekova Island, which is about an hour's journey from Dalyangazi by sea. Here, you will have the opportunity to swim in the turquoise waters that were once a favored haunt of pirates and explore the ancient cemetery with its magnificent tombs. Along the northern shore of Kekova Island, you can witness the fascinating remains of Simena, a city that was destroyed by earthquakes around two thousand years ago. The tour will end with the transfer to your hotel in Olympos.
