Mudanya is a tiny Anatolian village located on the Marmara Sea coast. It was founded by Colophon, and throughout history Greeks and Ottomans settled there, hence, the local city texture is vintage, well preserved, and worth seeing. Tahir Pasha Mansiyon is, on the other hand, one of the few ones that survived the Ottoman Tulip period. It was converted into a city museum in 2013, and it is our destination.  

Kumyaka Church, also known as Basmelekler Church, is a Byzantine church built by Constantine IV Porphyrogenitus in 780. It was restored in 2016, and it is now visited twice a year by Greek Orthodox citizens, as well as on Easter.

Among Ottoman houses, we will walk on the narrow, cobblestone streets to reach Tirilye, also known as the Zeytinbagi neighborhood. During the Ottoman period and before, it was a place where Greek citizens often settled, hence the seven historical churches located here. Kemerli and Dundar House (Yuannes Church) are two of them that we will visit. The New Stone School (Tas Mektep) is a markedly neoclassical-style historical artifact and the largest building in the town.

This amazing day will be relaxing and will become a feast with a delicious lunch in a fish restaurant on the beach. Trilye is known for its olive production, so you can find a variety of locally produced olive goods during your shopping break.

Next, we will depart for Golyazi district, which is located on the coast of Lake Ulubat. After we roam around, the tea break will be given under a 450-year-old plane tree on the Ulubat Lake coast. The tour will end with transportation to your hotel in Bursa.
