Today we will visit many interesting and historical places in Sinop city. . At first, we will visit the archaeological and ethnography museum to get acquainted with the history of the city. The Sinop Archeological Museum was established in 1970 after artifacts were found at different locations around the city as well as a tomb from the Seljuk era and the ruins of a Serapeum (temple dedicated to the deity Serapis). The Historic Sinop Fortress Prison is a state prison-turned-museum within Sinop city and is one of the oldest jails in Turkey. Established in 1887 inside a fortress that was built approximately in the 7th century BC, when Sinop was a Greek colony, a stone masonry jail was added in 1887, with 28 halls on two floors as well as a Turkish bath for prisoners. Famous for having hosted many important Turkish intellectuals, the prison became a museum in 1999. Today we will also visit many interesting places such as the monument to Diogenes, the historical Sinop fortress, the Mehmet Mosque. During the tour, we will have lunch at the Sinop restaurant and after lunch, we will continue our tour of Sinop city. Sinop's local kitchen is very rich in variety and the color of the dishes that we can mainly list those; Kebaps, biryani kebap, metaballs, deserts, salads and species special for the city, etc. Then we will visit Balatlar Church - was built in A.D. 660 by the Byzantines as a rectangular basilica. The church is located in the northern province of Sinop. Our tour will end with a visit to the Inceburun Feneri. Inceburun Feneri is an active lighthouse on the Black Sea coast in Sinop Province, Turkey. The lighthouse keeping is served by Family Cilesiz, who do the job in the fifth generation. On the way, we will visit one of the famous leather production centers of the region, where you will have the opportunity to get a good factory rate. On this guided tour, you will avoid the constant nagging and sometimes bullying that is well known in the markets of Turkey. Enabling you to enjoy the shopping experience whilst gaining the knowledge of the ancient craftsmen.

Around 17:00 – 18.00, we will depart back to your hotel.
