The tour begins at Galata Tower, where we start our walk through the Karakoy District towards Galata Bridge, enjoying breathtaking views of the Bosphorus along the way. From Eminönü, we visit the Spice Bazaar and the Grand Bazaar, exploring the vibrant shops and local atmosphere.
We then arrive at Old Istanbul (Sultanahmet), the most historic area of the city, which has served as the capital of multiple dynasties. Here, we explore iconic landmarks, historic streets, and cultural sites. The tour concludes at Corlulu Ali Pasa Madrasah, where you can reflect on the rich history of the area.
During the tour, we will stop to taste authentic Turkish cuisine, street food, desserts, and enjoy drinks at traditional cafés. The total walking distance is approximately 4.5–5 km. This is a tip-based free tour, and trying all the foods on our tasting list will cost around €15.
