OVERVIEW

The tour starts in front of your hotel, where we will pick you up in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. The first stop is Niksic, where we take a short break to taste traditional Krempita cake, coffee, or Niksicko beer in a local café (optional).

From there, we drive towards Durmitor National Park, home to the Black Lake, one of the most famous glacial lakes in the Balkans. We will take a leisurely walk through the coniferous forests surrounding the lake, enjoying the crisp mountain air and hearing the legends of this mystical place.

Our journey continues with a panoramic drive across the Durmitor Plateau, where you will see hidden glacial lakes and medieval necropolises, listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

The tour’s highlight is Tara Canyon, the deepest canyon in Europe and second deepest in the world, after the Grand Canyon. We will stop at a viewpoint overlooking the canyon’s deepest point, where you can admire the turquoise Tara River winding through steep cliffs.

At Djurdjevica Tara Bridge, one of the most famous landmarks in Montenegro, you will have time to take in the panoramic views. For those seeking adventure, an optional zip-line allows you to glide across the canyon for an unforgettable experience.

After a full day of exploration, we will return to Budva with incredible memories of Montenegro’s wild landscapes.
