Return to Maroantsetra and stop at the Nosy Mangabe reserve which is the largest island in the Antongil bay with an area of 520 ha, it is a humid and evergreen forest. Wright and Pierre Verin, researchers suggest that man inhabited the islet in the 8th century AD. The Europeans, more precisely the Hollander, were the great visitors to this islet, it was the cause of an appropriate stopover on the road to India and spices. Nowadays, the real witness is the "Hollanders’ beach”, Hollanders’ writings on the rocks of the islet. Return to Maroantsetra before early afternoon.
