Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime experience in the Ngorongoro Highlands that will exceed your wildest expectations.
Following breakfast, you'll embark on an exhilarating descent of over 600 meters into the Ngorongoro crater to witness its abundant wildlife. The park boasts a diverse range of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants, all of which thrive due to year-round water and fodder supply.
Additionally, the crater is home to a dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which can be challenging to spot without a trained eye. During the tour, we'll explore Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake located in the southwestern corner of the crater, which is one of its most prominent features. Here, you'll have the opportunity to spot a vast array of flamingos, hippos, and other aquatic birds
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Manyara airstrip for your onward flight to Serengeti Grumeti . On arrival, you will be greeted by your guide. Mila is located in Nyasirori, a game-rich region in the western corridor of the Serengeti. Wildlife viewing in the Western Corridor is consistent throughout the year. The broken savannah south of the Grumeti River supports substantial resident populations of giraffe, wildebeest, elephant, zebra and other typical plains animals, and lion. The little-visited open grasslands north of the river are good for cheetahs. Serengeti balloon safaris are offered during the Great Migration season (from the beginning of June to the end of October).
Depending on the time of year and herds’ migration, you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes, and many birds and other species.
You will spend the day doing full-day game drives with picnic lunch or you may opt for morning and Sunset game drives with breaks for lunch and afternoon relaxation at the lodge or an afternoon nap at your lodge. You may also opt to have a balloon ride over the Serengeti, the aerial view of this magnificent park is a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kogatende Airstrip for your flight to Kilimanjaro Airport for your homebound flight.
