Salalah
Salalah
Arrival at Salalah International Airport. Meet & assist followed by private transfer to hotel and check-in. Rest of the day at leisure to relax or explore nearby areas.
After breakfast, proceed for a half-day Salalah city tour exploring the main cultural and historical attractions of the city. Visit Sultan Qaboos Mosque, followed by a photo stop at Al Husn Palace, the ceremonial residence of His Majesty the Sultan. Continue with photo stops at Al Baleed Archaeological Park and the Frankincense Museum, which highlight Salalah’s ancient frankincense trading heritage. Later, explore the traditional Haffa Souq, famous for frankincense, perfumes, and local handicrafts. The tour also includes a visit to Haffa Beach and the scenic coconut plantations along the coastline. Return to the hotel in the afternoon. Evening at leisure.
After breakfast, proceed for a scenic East Salalah tour. Visit Taqah Castle, the traditional coastal town known for its historical architecture. Continue to Wadi Darbat, one of the most beautiful valleys in Dhofar famous for waterfalls, lakes, and lush green landscapes during Khareef season.
Later visit Sumhuram Archaeological Park (UNESCO Site), an ancient frankincense trading port. Continue to the coastal town of Mirbat, known for its historic houses and fishing harbor.
Return to hotel in the evening.
Overnight Salalah.
After breakfast, proceed for a scenic West Salalah tour along the beautiful coastal road of Dhofar. Visit Mughsail Beach, one of the most famous beaches in Oman known for its white sand and dramatic cliffs. Continue to Marneef Cave (Photo Stop), a natural rock formation offering panoramic views of the Arabian Sea. Nearby, witness the spectacular Natural Blowholes, where seawater shoots through rock formations creating impressive water fountains during high tide.
Enjoy the scenic coastline and surrounding mountains before returning to Salalah in the afternoon. Evening at leisure.
