Itinerary

Day 1

Day 1st :Welcome to Kathmandu, Nepal. Upon arrival at the airport, clear all the immigration formalities and outside the

airport, our team members will be waiting outside with the Placard. You will then be transferred to the hotel.

Remaining day at leisure or stroll around the area.

Day 2nd :Wake up in the morning and have breakfast in the hotel. After breakfast sightseeing of Boudhanath stupa and BhaktapurDurbar Square and Kathmandu Durbar Square.

Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is the historic seat of royalty built between the 12th and 18th centuries. The Durbar Square is protected as a UNESCO World Heritage Monument listed in 1979 which epitomizes the social, religious and cultural life of the Nepalese people. It is the place where the kings of Nepal are crowned and their coronation solemnized. There is also the Numismatic Museum and Tribhuvan Museum inside the place building.



BoudhaNath Stupa: It is the focal point of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal and lies 8km east of Kathmandu and is the largest stupa in the South Asia, looming 36m overhead. It was listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument List in 1979 is also known as Khasti. The name ‘Boudhanath’ is composed of two different words Boudha and Nath. Boudha means wisdom and the suffix Nath stands for Lord. Thus Boudhanath means the Lord of wisdom. In this area there are more than 45 Buddhist monasteries located at the base.


Bhaktapur Durbar Square is very popular for its religious, culture and historical heritage, Bhaktapur is also known as Bhadgaun. This city, rich in ancient arts, religious values, fabulous cultural traditions, architectural masterpieces and ancient sculptures, is also known as an open museum. Morever, the city is also famous as a city of gods. Bhaktapur has a cluster of temples, pagodas, monuments, courtyard, squares. traditional houses, artistic stones, taps, also Buddhist shrines and monasteries built in different times of the history. Back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay at Kathmandu.

DAY 03: DEPARTURE

Breakfast in the hotel and transfer to Tribhwan International Airport (TIA) before 03 hours the flight begin for the final departure of guests.

After breakfast at the hotel, set out to explore different UNESCO heritage sites in Kathmandu valley.

First, visit Pashupatinath. 

The magnificent Pashupatinath temple with its astonishing architectural beauty is situated on the bank of the sacred Bagmati River. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pashupatinath is also Nepal’s most renowned Hindu cremation site.

Later drive back to the hotel.

Next, we will drive to the ancient city of Bhaktapur. 

Visit Bhaktapur or Bhadgaon translates as the ‘City of Devotees’. Still untouched by rapid urbanization, Bhaktapur retains its charm by its brick-paved roads, red brick houses and a way of life that goes back to medieval times.

Enjoy Juju Dhau, a traditional curd. Subject to extra cost.

Later we will then drive to visit Kathmandu Durbar Square. Kathmandu, the largest city of Nepal is the political as well as the cultural capital of the country. Kathmandu is blessed by a living goddess. The Kumari Devi is the most important of several living goddesses in Nepal. We will then walk across the AsonBazaar exploring the spices and vegetable market all the way to Thamel a buzzing, visitor-friendly area.

Note: The Museum is under the restoration process.

Later drive back to the hotel.

Breakfast at the hotel. Depending on the flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for your final departure. 

NOTE:

The reporting time at the airport is 3 hrs. Prior to the departure.

Most of the hotels’ check-in time is after 2 PM and check-out time is before 12 noon.
