The tour begins when our guide picks you up at your hotel. From there, we’ll walk to the Hanoi Opera House, a smaller version of the famous Opera House in Paris, and to August Revolution Square. As we walk along Le Thach Street, you’ll see the State Bank of Vietnam. In the French Quarter, we’ll also visit the Government Guest House, which used to be the home of the Governor of North Vietnam. Nearby, there’s a peaceful park with a statue of King Ly Thai To — a famous king in Vietnamese history. This is a popular place where locals come to walk, exercise, dance, or simply enjoy the fresh air.
Next, we’ll take a walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, the heart of Hanoi. This is a must-see spot where you can feel the calm and peaceful side of the city, even though it’s right in the center of busy Hanoi.
One of our highlights is a visit to St. Joseph’s Cathedral, also known as the Hanoi Big Church. Built in 1886 with neo-Gothic architecture, this iconic landmark is often compared to the Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris. Located in the Old Quarter, the cathedral stands as a symbol of Hanoi’s colonial past and spiritual life. Take in the serene atmosphere, admire the stunning stained-glass windows, and capture memorable photos in front of its majestic façade. Whether you're a history enthusiast or a curious traveler, this stop is sure to leave a lasting impression.
After all the walking, it’s time to relax. We’ll take you to the famous Train Street, where you can enjoy a Hanoi’s special egg coffee. Here, you can also watch a train pass by just a few feet away — a fun and unforgettable way to end the tour.
Finally, we’ll walk you back to your hotel. Say goodbye to your guide. Tour ends.
