Ankara: Explore Atatürk’s Mausoleum and delve into Turkey's ancient civilizations at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations.

Itinerary

Day 1

Meet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore Ankara. Overnight Ankara.

Day 2

After breakfast, we will pick you up from your hotel for the city tour.
 We will visit the award winning MUSEUM OF ANATOLIAN CIVILIZATIONS which was established in 1921 and reached its present structure in 1968. In the museum you can simply see the summary of human civilization where yo can see the artefacts from Palaeolithic Age ( 8000 BC ), Neolithic Age ( 8000-5500 BC ), Calcolithic (Copper-Stone) Age ( 5500-3000 BC ) to present time. The museum has a perfect exhibition about historic Anatolian cultures like Hittites, Phrygians, Urartus and Late Hitties. Next stop will be THE ANKARA CASTLE which is one of the oldest sites in Ankara and is believed to date back to late Hittites period 1600 BC. The castle was used by Roman, Seljuklu and Ottoman empire. The castle overlooking the city contains a small neighbourhood of old historic houses and a local market which you can enjoy. After that we will visit AUGUSTUS TEMPLE which is also known as Ancyranum that was built in 25 – 20 BC by The Romans. The temple is known with its Greek inscriptions. The temple was converted to a Basilica in Chrisitian era. We will also visit HACI BAYRAM MOSQUE next to the temple. We will have free time for lunch and after that we will visit THE MAUSELOUM OF ATATURK. Ataturk the started and lead the indepedence war of Turkey and saved the country and he is also the founder of democratic and secular Turkish Rebuplic. Here you can see hall of honour, the mauseloum, the lion's road, the towers with symbolic meanings, ceromonial ground, change or guards ceromony, and museum.  Ankara is weell known with KIZILAY NEIGHBORHOOD and we will end the tour with a walk in here. After the tour, transfer back to your hotel. Overnight Ankara.

Day 3

Early Morning Departure from Ankara:
Begin your journey bright and early from Ankara. The scenic drive to Salt Lake (Tuz Gölü), one of Turkey's largest salt lakes, takes approximately 2 hours.
Visit to Salt Lake (Tuz Gölü): On arrival, enjoy the breathtaking landscape of this vast, white expanse. Walk across the shimmering salt flats, take memorable photographs, and soak in the tranquil atmosphere.

Journey to Cappadocia: After your Salt Lake experience, continue your journey toward Cappadocia. The drive takes approximately 1.5 hours through central Anatolia’s unique terrain. Overnight in Cappadocia:
Check in to your selected accommodation in Cappadocia and enjoy the evening at leisure.

Day 4

If You would like before you start the tour, you can join Cappadocia is an extraordinary national treasure in Turkey. First stop is the Esentepe Vista point from where you can see clearly Goreme and its surrounding. It has a spectacular view.Your guide will give you some information about geology of rock formations and you can get some of the best pictures of Cappadocia.Next step is Uchisar Castle.It is the summit where Cappadocia mingles with clouds; it is the highest point and can be seen from any spot in the region.After Uchisar Castle , have a visit to Goreme Open Air Museum.The Museum is listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. It contains the finest of the rock-cut churches, with beautiful frescoes. From here, we proceed to Avanos for lunch.And then since Avanos is totally a pottery paradise,we watch live pottery demonstration.
Pasabag (Monks Valley) will be next before Devrent Valley.Pasabag which is full of peculiar fairy chimneys looks remarkable with best formations. Devrent Valley is a small place on the outskirts of Goreme. Unlike other valleys in the region, it doesn’t boast of the normal cave churches. Because all you have to do is let your mind run wild and a variety of stone sculptures can be seen .Drop off hotel. Overnight in Cappadocia.

Day 5

Arrival to Konya from Cappadocia, enjoying the fantastic view of the Anatolian steppes. Visit the Mevlana Museum, which houses the tomb of the great 13th-century Persian poet and founder of the Order of the Whirling Dervishes, Jalal ad-Din Muhammad Balkhi, Popularly known as Rumi in Western countries, meaning “Roman” in Arabic, his followers and Muslims like to call him “Mevlana”, meaning “our master We will visit all available sections in the museum such as Matbah (Kitchen), tombs, Tilavet Chamber (Quran Reading And Chanting Chamber) and Semâ-Hâne (Ritual Hall). We will continue our tour with a visit to Selimiye Mosque, located next door to Mevlana Museum. Visit Alaatin Mosque and Karatay Madrasah, which showcase stunning tile work and intricate architecture. The ancient mosques exude an aura of tranquillity and devotion. Overnight in Konya. 

Day 6

After a delicious breakfast at Cappadocia Hotel, departure toward, we will embark on our journey to Eskişehir Prtovince, a vibrant and modern city that boasts a distinctly European charm. Upon our arrival, our first stop will be the Kurşunlu Mosque and Complex, an architectural gem built by Çoban Mustafa Pasha in 1525 during the illustrious reign of Suleiman the Magnificent.Following our exploration of the Kursunlu mosque, we will wander through the picturesque streets of the Odunpazarı district, known for its lovingly preserved historical wooden houses. This UNESCO World Heritage Site captivates visitors with its vibrant colours and unique architectural style. In Eskişehir, we can get to know the local people closely by chatting with them while walking around the local museums and Odunpazarı.Overnight in Eskişehir.

Day 7

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up from your hotel and drive to Bursa. When we arrive in Bursa, we will visit Green Mosque, the biggest mosque in the city, and the Green Tomb. After having lunch, we will visit to the Grand Bazaar where you can taste and buy local products such as chesnut, honey, olive oil, and Turkish delight. You also have the opportunity to see how local life goes on there. The next stop will be enjoy a leisurely cable car ride up the slopes of Uludag, the ancient Olympus, or if the cable car is not running, take in the panoramic views from beneath the more than 1000 years-old plane tree.

Today departure from Bursa, explore Istanbul's vibrant culture and historical charm with this unforgettable tour covering the Egyptian Bazaar, Bosphorus Cruise, Balat, Pierre Loti Hill, and Istiklal Street.Egyptian Bazaar (Spice Bazaar), where you can experience the rich aroma of spices, Turkish delights, and local delicacies. Visit Rustem Pasha Mosque, one of the most beautiful examples of Ottoman architecture, decorated with blue Iznik tiles.Fallow city walls and Golden Horn embark on a Cruise Boat. Bosphorus  BoatTour offers an excellent opportunity to familiarise yourself with Istanbul. Enjoy the captivating scenery along the magnificent Bosphorus, which divides Asia from Europe. At the same time, you can view Istanbul's landmarks, such as the Maiden's Tower, the Bosphorus Bridge, the Dolmabahçe Palace, and the wooden mansions.Lunch break in a local restaurant . Balat: Discover the colourful streets of Balat, a historic district known for its Ottoman-era houses, antique shops, and vibrant street art. Next, take a cable car to Pierre Loti Hill, where you can relax at a traditional café while enjoying breathtaking Golden Horn views. End your day on Istiklal Street, Istanbul’s most famous pedestrian avenue. Day 9

After breakfast, we have Istanbul City Tour. Our first visit will be HIPPODROME. Ancient Hippodrome was the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments; the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. Than we will visit SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE. Across from Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, it was built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet, is known as the BLUE MOSQUE because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles. Our next visit will be HAGIA SOPHIA GRAND MOSQUE. The Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque, previously known as the Church of Divine Wisdom, is simply the best of its kind! Hagia Sophia Grand Mosque is the greatest surviving example of Byzantine Architecture. For 1000 years, it was once the largest church in the world, decorated with stunning 6th century golden mosaics. Today it is a mosque. Lunch break at 13:00 pm. After the lunch, TravelShop Group will take you to the ALI PASAZADE which is a unique atmosphere with reasonable prices for your shopping.
