Hotel Pick-up in Tbilisi
Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Tbilisi at 08:30 AM and begin the scenic drive north toward the Greater Caucasus Mountains along the historic Georgian Military Highway.

Zhinvali Reservoir & Ananuri Fortress
The first stop is the beautiful Zhinvali Reservoir, followed by a visit to the historic Ananuri Fortress. Built in the 16th–17th centuries, this fortress complex once belonged to the powerful Aragvi Eristavi feudal family and includes defensive towers, churches, and residential buildings.

Gudauri Ski Resort & Mountain Viewpoints
Continue driving toward Gudauri Ski Resort, located at an altitude of 2,196 meters. Several scenic stops are made along the way, including panoramic viewpoints overlooking the dramatic mountain landscape.

Jvari (Cross) Pass
Drive through the spectacular Jvari Pass, located at around 2,300 meters above sea level, the highest point along the Georgian Military Road.

Stepantsminda (Kazbegi)
Arrive in the small mountain town of Stepantsminda, the administrative center of the Khevi region. The town lies beneath the majestic Mount Kazbek (5,054 m).

Gergeti Trinity Church
Transfer to a local 4WD vehicle to reach the famous Gergeti Trinity Church, located on a hill at the foot of Mount Kazbek. The church is one of the most iconic landmarks in Georgia and offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.

Gveleti Waterfall
Take a short walk to the scenic Gveleti Waterfall, hidden inside the Gveleti Gorge. This beautiful natural attraction is surrounded by steep cliffs and alpine landscapes.

Dariali Gorge & Monastery
Continue to the dramatic Dariali Gorge, carved by the Tergi River near the Georgia–Russia border at Larsi. The gorge stretches about 13 km and reaches depths of up to 1,800 meters.
Visit the nearby Dariali Monastery, located in this spectacular mountain setting.

Return to Tbilisi
In the evening, depart from the Khevi region and return to Tbilisi, where you will be dropped off at your hotel.
