Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is an awesome and amazing trek that goes around the region’s maximum. On this trip, we visit different places like the Gosaikunda Lake, Lauribina La Pass, Langtang National Park, Langtang Village, Kyangjin Gompa, Sing Gompa, and more.
We can see the beauty of snow-fueled peaks and mountains like Langtang Lirung, Kimsung, Dorje Lakpa, Gangchenpo, Yansa Tsenji, and others. In addition, we see beautiful flora and fauna in Langtang National Park.
Similarly, we can see different houses of Tamangs influenced by Tibetan subculture. We discover the food, lifestyle, subculture, and awareness of Tamangs. Many historical Buddhist gompas, monasteries, Chortens, prayer flags, mani walls, and different architecture, and those vintage monuments are a primary highlight of the Langtang Gosaikunda Trek.
We’ll travel to the best of the regions in that trek, together with Kyangjin Gompa, Langtang Village, Thulo Syabru, Kutumsang, and plenty of others.
Then we’ll visit the beautiful Gosaikunda Lake (4,380m) and Lauribina La Pass(4,610m).
Gosainkunda Lake, a sacred lake, is a scenic freshwater lake within the Langtang region’s hills that influenced both Hinduism and Buddhism. And Lauribina La Pass at the outskirts of the lake.
An alternative teahouse trek to Annapurna and Everest, the Langtang GosaiKunda trek takes you through the forested lowlands, alpine meadows of the Langtang Valley, the yak herds of Kyanjin Gompa, the sacred gems of Lake Gosai Kunda and the Sherpa meadows of Helambu. A great choice to complement. The normal access route from Kathmandu is via the Trishuli River to Syabrubesi, the starting point for the trek. The route winds through dense rhododendron forests on both sides of the river, leaving the tree line into alpine terrain and over glacial moraines to the rebuilt village of Langtang. Higher in the inner valley sanctuary is the dramatic backdrop of yak meadows and Kyanjin Gompa, a secluded monastery famous for making yak cheese. An optional climb to Kyanjin Lee or Cherco Lee offers panoramic views of the nearby mountains, including Langtang Lirung, which dominates the valley at an altitude of 7,234 meters.
