Welcome to Sri Lanka, the jewel of the Indian Ocean! Upon arrival at Colombo International Airport, you will be warmly received by your representative and transferred to the serene coastal town of Negombo (approximately 20 minutes).

Horton Plains National Park Excursion

For nature lovers, a visit to Horton Plains National Park is an unforgettable experience. Originally discovered in the early 19th century, this vast plateau was named after Sir Robert Wilmot Horton, Governor of Ceylon. Declared a nature reserve in 1969 and elevated to National Park status in 1988, Horton Plains is one of Sri Lanka’s most biodiverse regions. The park is home to montane cloud forests, rolling grasslands, and streams that give birth to three of the island’s major rivers: the Mahaweli, the Walawe, and the Kelani. Surrounded by towering peaks—including Kirigalpotta (2,389 m) and Thotupola (2,357 m)—the plains offer remarkable hiking trails.
