Our Machu Picchu Day Trip begins with an early morning pickup from your hotel, typically between 4:00 and 6:30 am, depending on your chosen train option and hotel location (Cusco or Sacred Valley).

After the pickup, you will be transferred by car to the Ollantaytambo train station, which takes approximately two hours.

Once you reach the station, you will board the train to "Aguas Calientes," also known as "Machu Picchu Pueblo," for a journey of around 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Upon arrival at the Aguas Calientes train station, a representative from KANTU PERU TOURS will be waiting for you and will accompany you to the bus station.

From there, you will embark on a comfortable tourist bus for a half-hour scenic ride to the main entrance of the Machu Picchu Citadel.

Once the bus ride concludes, our knowledgeable Tour Guide will be ready to commence the Guided Tour of Machu Picchu, which will last approximately 2.5 hours. During the tour, you will visit the most significant sites within the Inca citadel.

At the conclusion of the tour, the guide will leave you at a strategic location, allowing you ample free time to explore on your own, capture memorable photos of Machu Picchu, and immerse yourself in its beauty.

Afterward, you will take the same bus back to "Aguas Calientes Town," where you can enjoy a delightful lunch at a high-quality restaurant (included in the price).

In the afternoon, you will board the selected train for the return journey to Ollantaytambo Train Station. Upon arrival, a representative from KANTU PERU TOURS will be waiting to escort you back to the imperial city of Cusco. Depending on your chosen train option, you will arrive at your Cusco hotel in the evening.
