This course of the East will make you discover the green part of Madagascar. In 7 days, you will be able to discover more than 13 species of lemurs, among them the most famous: TheIndri indri the largest lemur of the big island, tailless, differentiated by special cry, sheltered in the Analamazaotra national park; the nocturnal Aye-aye lemur in danger of extinction in the Palmarium reserve. This itinerary continues with a boat excursion along the Pangalanes Canal to Tamatave, the economic capital of Madagascar.

Upon your arrival at Ivato airport in Antananarivo, our team will welcome you and present you your travel program, then give you your necessary documents. Transfer to your hotel where you will spend the night to rest well after the long journey.• Accommodation: Rova Hotel or similar
After breakfast at the hotel, departure for Andasibe towards the east of the island. The road goes up and down, some curves with very attractive landscapes, rice fields, eucalyptus forests, red earth slopes. In an hour's stop in Marozevo, visit of the Peyrieras reserve, a center for the preservation of reptile species, chameleons, frogs, crocodiles, lemurs, butterflies... The trip continues, lunch in Moramanga at the restaurant. Arrival at the end of the day in Andasibe, installation at the hotel and preparation of the night visit of about 2 hours to observe the microcebus lemur, having its bright eyes illuminated by a flashlight, micro chameleons, amphibians. After breakfast at the hotel, departure to visit the tropical rainforest: Analamazaotra National Park. It introduces you to animals and plants endemic to Madagascar, of course this site is home to 11 species of diurnal and nocturnal lemurs, namely the tawny lemur ( Eulemurfulvusfulvus ), the red-bellied lemur (Eulemurrubriventer ), the woolly avahi (Avahilaniger) , the gray bamboo lemur ( Hapalemurgriseus ) and the ruffed lemur ( Vareciavariegata ), and several species of birds. The abundance of vegetation explains the greenery of the park, namely pandanus, rosewood, tree ferns, lichens, epiphytic orchids...and numerous medicinal plants. During the walk, we hear the voice of the large lemurs Indri Indri or “Babakoto”, its weight reaches up to 25kg, it is tailless. The guide explains the life of wild animals and makes taking photos fun. After the visit, it's time for free lunch then on the way to the private reserve of Vakôna or the lemur island to see the lemurs more closely, they jump on the shoulder, they are used to having contact with people, in fact this reserve is home to 5 species of lemurs, hundreds of crocodiles, Fosa, chameleons… Free dinner and night at the hotel.
We will get up early in the morning to have breakfast because we are in a hurry to discover the other beauty of the country. The next destination is 4 hours from Andasibe, the village of Manambato located on the shores of Lake Rasoabe, then we cross by boat on part of the Pangalanes Canal to go to Ankanin'ny Nofy. Installation at the hotel and preparation of the activities on the site such as the night visit. Several activities are proposed at your choice, on foot or by boat. The highlight of this site is the guided tour in the private reserve of Palmarium which shelters various species of lemurs and the beautiful endemic flora. Crossing the lake by boat to visit the village of the Betsimisaraka tribe on the shore. A proposal of night visit on the island of the cockerel, moving by barge to see the Aye-Aye in freedom and protected. After breakfast, transfer by boat to Tamatave, 2 hours on the Canal des Pangalanes, as soon as you arrive at the right port, you go directly to the hotel to settle down. Then, departure to visit the Ivoloina park and free lunch. In the afternoon,there will be a city tour of Tamatave. Transfer to the airport for the return flight to Antananarivo. Reception on arrival and transfer to your hotel closer to the airport for day use. Depending on the arrival time of your flight and if you wish, visits of the craftsmen of La Digue and the city center.
