Arrival at Nosy Be airport, welcome and briefing. Transfer to the planned west coast hotel. Afternoon at leisure to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
Travel from Nosy Be to Ankify by fast boat, followed by an excursion along the Ramena River and Ambobaka Village. Continue to Ambanja to explore plantations of cocoa, vanilla, ylang-ylang, pepper, patchouli, and vetiver, ending with a visit to the remote Sambirano River and Bons Pères Waterfall. Return by pirogue and transfer to Ambilobe.
Journey north to Diego Suarez (Antsiranana) through rice fields and villages. Visit Mahamasina Park, guided by a certified Madagascar National Parks guide, exploring dry tropical forests and trails. Options include La Perte de Rivière, Tsingy Tower, Tsingy Rary, the Suspension Bridge, and the Bat Cave. Lunch at Chez Aurélien, a local restaurant. Continue to Diego Suarez for overnight stay.
Travel to the village of Ramena and board a traditional Malagasy boat to the Emerald Sea. Enjoy a day of relaxation on pristine white beaches surrounded by crystal-clear waters. Lunch included on the island, with return to Diego Suarez before sunset.
Visit Sakalava Bay, Pigeon Bay, and Dune Bay, with opportunities to swim in calm waters. Explore the lighthouse, military ruins, and Orangea village. Lunch at a local restaurant in Ramena, followed by a stroll through the fishing village observing traditional pirogue construction. Return to Sakalava Bay for overnight stay.
A day of adventure along sandy tracks and dry forest, visiting Pirate Bay and observing sea turtles, dolphins, and rays. Trek through the forest to discover giant baobabs. Lunch at a local restaurant in Antalaha Bay, then continue to Sakalava Bay.
Travel south to Joffreville, gateway to Montagne d’Ambre National Park. Guided 2.5-hour walk through evergreen forest with waterfalls, spotting lemurs and endemic species. Lunch at Le Relais de la Montagne d’Ambre or inside the park. Optional stop at a monastery garden producing essential oils and medicinal balms. Return to hotel in Joffreville.
Journey south through varied landscapes to visit Tsingy Rouge Canyon, a geological marvel of sandstone, marble, and limestone spires. Lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Ankify. Transfer by speedboat to Diana Lodge for beach stay.
Day at leisure to enjoy beach and lodge facilities.
Additional day for relaxation and optional activities on the beach.
Private boat transfer from Diana Lodge to Hellville Port. Transfer to Nosy Be airport or Hotel Costa Ovest for onward travel. End of services.
