Aborigine Village @ Rainforest Taman Negara Day Toiur
6am Depart for Taman Negara. On arrival at Kuala Tahan, Nature Guide will lead you jungle trekking to the viewpoint for a stunning view of Gunung Tahan - Malaysia''s highest mountain. Nature Guide will belt out facts and taboos of Taman Negara. Catch a boat and the boatman negotiates the gushing waters as he heads for an aborigine village deep in the jungle. The ladies shy away and the men "run" away only to return with their tools for a fire making and blowpipe demonstration - the native way. Its fascinating really ! You can partake of the activities. This experience will soon be no more as the aborigines are being rehabilitated. And also deforestation
These naive people sustain their living from the rainforest their supermarket. They do small farming, fishing, hunting smaller animals with their blowpipes, sell medicinal herbs and spices. You can ask the Guide for any clarifications. And you could also interact with the aborigines through your guide.
Nature Guide then takes you jungle trekking to a mesmerizing rainforest waterfalls for therapeutic relief.
Return to Jetty, refresh and depart for the iconic Batu Caves and climb 272 steps into temple of Hindu Deity honored during festivals. Ladies to have their knees and shoulders covered. Drop off at your hotel by 8 pm.
Know something: If you sight monkeys, birds, monitor lizards etc.. consider yourself lucky. But if you see a tiger, we ain't quite sure who is gonna be lucky!!! Please ask the Guide.
