Rainforest Taman Negara - Night Jungle walk

Itinerary

Day 1

8am Meet and greet at Penang hotel and depart for Cameron Highlands. Enroute bonus stop at the Orangutan Island (subject to availability). Proceed to the Cameron Highlands - a hill resort with large tea plantations and farmlands and aborigines. At Camerons visit a tea plantation and sip tea seated on an elevated tea cafe and watch the rolling hills below. Take plenty of photo shoots of the plantation. 

Then visit a Vegetable Market to see various vegetable, flowers and fruits grown in the Camerons. Pluck strawberries and visit a flower garden. The Butterfly Farm has insects, and other smaller animals for viewing pleasure.  Check into hotel. Free and easy.

Your Guide will be at your disposal throughout the tours. 

 

Day 2

Day 02 Cameron Highlands - Taman Negara  
7am Depart for Taman Negara - 130 million years old tropical rainforest with endangered tigers, elephants, tapirs, pythons... etc and 14,000 flowering plants and 300 bird species.... The aborigines live in scattered colonies deep in the jungle. Check in to hotel Free and easy.

7pm Join Nature Guide for the Night Jungle walk to spot smaller animals as in civet cats, slow  loris, mouse deer, scorpions etc and watch nocturnal animals come for their salt lick at the man made salt lake  Experience the night ambience at a virgin rainforest. Return to hotel. Free and easy. 



Day 3

9am Jungle trek with Nature Guide to the viewpoint for a stunning view of Gunung Tahan - Malaysia's highest mountain.  Catch a boat for rapids shooting and the boatman negotiates the gushing mountain waters  to reach an aborigine village. The ladies shy  away  and the men "run" away only to return with their hunting tools for fire making and blowpipe demonstration - the native way. You  can partake of the activities. And you can interact with the jungle people through your Nature Guide. The rainforest is their supermarket. 

Nature Guide will belt out facts and  taboos of Taman Negara and leads you jungle trekking to a mesmerizing rain forest waterfalls for a cool dip - a therapeutic stress reliever.   Bring swim wear Return to hotel. Free and easy 

Day 4

Day 04 Taman Negara - Kuala Lumpur  
8am Depart for Kuala Lumpur  enroute bonus stop at the Iconic Batu Caves and climb 272 steps into temple of Hindu Deity honored during festivals. Ladies to have their knees and shoulders covered. Drive to the colonial landmarks at Independent Square with buildings like Sultan Abdul Samad Building, St Mary's Church. the Clubhouse, Jamek Mosque, the Old Railway Station, colorful Little India and Bustling Chinatown. Check in to hotel, Free and easy.

Day 5

8an Depart for Malacca - a UNESCO Heritage city and a melting pot of history . Portuguese and Dutch and the British played major roles in Malacca . Visit Stadthuys  -The Dutch Square, A Famosa - Portuguese Fort, St Paul's Hill and take a Trishaw ride to Jonkers' Street - the street of antiquity and also known as Chinatown. Some Portuguese soldiers married into the locals and a Portuguese settlement . This also happened with the Indian and Chinese migrants around the 15th Century. Check in to hotel Free and easy. 

Day 6

8am Depart for Johore Bahru - the border check point to enter Singapore. After clearance, Guide will ensure transfer into Singapore to your hotel of choice,  End of our tour program. Good Bye,
